Is it possible to connect a laptop keyboard and trackpad to Raspberry Pi? My HP Omen died with a motherboard failure some time ago and I wondered withther I can use the existing case and display to create a PiTop type of project. I found that it is possible to buy a driver/adapter board that allows one to connect the LCD to the Pi via HDMI and this seems to work fine. It should be fairly simple to use a couple of DC to DC converters to provide 12VDC and 5VDC power to the display and the Pi via the original DC input jack, but I haven't yet found a solution for hooking up the keyboard and trackpad. Does such a thing exist?
