I had a rough time last night trying to Install PINN on my Raspberry Pi from an SD card to an NVME. PINN dit not not recognise the ethernet connection and refused to connect to WiFi (not even a 2.4G network) and froze regularly. Eventually I managed to install it through a net-install (because the net-install software did recognise ethernet and WiFi). However, after the message that OSes were installed trying succesfully and a reboot all of the selected OSes failed to load.
My hardware:
A brand new Raspberry Pi 5 with official 27W power supply and cooler
USB mouse and keyboard
A Geekworm X1001 M.2 NVMe SSD Shield Top hat
A Lexar NM710 (500GB) nvme ssd
Several Samsung and Sandisk SD cards
