The Pi 5 (8Gb) with 64 bit PiOS is excellent. However I've switched away from Wayland to X11.
The reason is that in X11 the images are smooth when I play commercial films that I've ripped from my DVD collection. In Wayland the edges (for example) of someone's face are not smooth as they are in X11. Similarly there appear to be fine vertical "lines" in the image. Lines isn't the right word pixelation of artifacts may be nearer.
Has anyone else noticed this effect and more importantly is there a remedy?
