Try getting rid of the wireless keyboard and mouse.
Temporarily use wired ones to see if that improves it.
I have experienced issues with wireless keyboard/mouse intermittently interfering with BT Audio on a Pi5. The BT kept dropping to the lower connection or just dropping out completely. I also found that to be worse with the metal case, completely unusable in fact.
Are they using the internal BT adaptor or do they have their own dongles? If the later are they in the USB2 or 3 ports? try changing them.
Mine are external. What I found helped was to use a USB extension lead to move the dongle further away from the PI. Strangely enough though, I had a problem with one of the cables and went back to using the dongles direct and the problem hasn't recurred at all recently. Hence; I wondered if it had been fixed in a recent BT update. Weird.
