I used to have a separate, always on, Pi4 running Pi-hole, file server, time server and internal webserver. When the Pi5 came out I combined everything thing so the Pi5 is now my main desktop, Pi-hole, file server, time server and internal webserver. I did this in January and have had no issues or regrets at all. To reduce the chance of updates breaking the Pi5, I repurposed my Pi4 as a test system so that I can test major updates before I apply them to my Pi5.
