You mean Pi500 not for Christmas? That would be very odd.Maybe CM5 will be Raspberry Pi's anniversary or Pi Day treat ? Though I expect many are hoping that will be a Pi 500.
And BTW, local Pi reseller here has Pi400 in a black friday now, 8% off, = 72 EUR including 21%VAT, maybe not much, but no other Pi board is discounted in that deal.
