Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Tip: Use .bash_history, Skip SSH for RPi OS Lite Commands

It's just three simple steps: remove the SD card from the Raspberry Pi, insert it into the PC to replace .bash_history, and then reinsert the SD card back into the Raspberry Pi. It can be done in under a minute without the need for additional commands, SSH, or other tools.

For those experienced with Raspberry Pi, SSH might seem easy, but for beginners, it’s not always straightforward. New users must first learn what SSH is, figure out their Pi's IP address, understand the login credentials, and enable SSH on their Raspberry Pi. Executing commands via SSH requires learning how to use an SSH client, which adds additional steps and complexity.

In contrast, simply placing the commands in a text file and running them on the Pi is a quicker and easier solution for beginners, especially when they’re still familiarizing themselves with the Raspberry Pi environment.
