Nobody is arguing with the fact that these kinds of posts always get locked. That's neither a good thing nor a bad thing, but it is the way the world works.
What's curious is the lack of a mod post to that effect. That leaves the impression that OP (*) locked his own post (which, as far as I know, ordinary users cannot do; hence my confusion; hence my reason for posting).
