I tried ChatGPT out to see if it could come up with some code to program KUKA industrial robots, something I am reasonably familiar with.
I was not impressed. It hallucinated commands that simply do not exist in the command set. Its attempts were worse than useless.
My biggest concern however is using AI on equipment where injuries can result from poor programming, but the code is good enough to pass compilation checks.
