There shouldn't be a conflict between the UART that board appears to connect to and the one used internally fro Bluetooth.
Point the software that talks to the z-wave module at /dev/serial0. That's a symbolic link to the UART routed to the GPIO header. At least on RPiOS. It may not be on other OS.
