Troubleshooting • Re: No boot after filesystem expansion. Anyone else seeing this?

I didn't think you had to explicitly (manually) expand the filesystem. It happens automatically on the first boot.


Note that this can take a long time and the screen will be black - essentially, it is easy to mistake this for a crashed system.
That is my experience too. The filesystem is expanded on the first boot and the reboots. Perhaps logging and trying to expand the filesystem is causing two expansions to occur at the same time, with unexpected results.

Can you re-image one of the systems without manually expanding the file system and see what happens?
