Have you tried with the latest rpi-update build? That's on 6.6.20 now.

my kernel is 6.6.20 - that's a kernel build from source, pulled them from git this morning (8th March), roughly 2 hours before what the kernel shows (as it takes roughly 2 hours to compile the kernel on that CM4).

Thaf's exactly the kernel which is not working. Anyhow, will do rpi-update tomorrow to see if that makes any difference.
