I thought of doing this, but I've had a lot of trouble installing picamera2 or any libcamera derivatives in a virtual environment. As far as I have found, there is no way to install those modules and all their dependencies within a virtual environment. I tried copying all of the library files from the global installation to the venv files, but there are always missing dependencies that pip can't find. I'm a bit new to Raspberry Pi venvs, so I may just be missing something.
If necessary, I suppose I can just install opencv globally because picamera2 loads there, but I'd rather avoid this if possible.
