I am not seeing these errors on _my_ Pi 5 with a Pimoroni Base and NVMe SSD. In no way saying that others are not seeing such errors. Potentially there is variance in the timing circuit, or I just happened to seat the connector just so, or won the silicon lottery. Bottom line I am very pleased with the performance, do have the gen3 config override and am not seeing errors. I am certainly not pounding the SSD with vast tracks of writes.Do you mean uncorrectable errors. The log posted previously showed 22,000 correctable errors in one day. That's way too much to be comfortable with. That would likely be the source of the "somewhat faster... enough to be noticeable"...You can double the speed of NVMe by adding "dtparam=pciex1_gen=3" to config.txt
"hdparm -t" reported 749.57 MB/sec on my Pi5.
I have not seem any errors or issues yet.
Is interesting that I have the same SSD as the fine gentleman reporting the errors. Would be interesting to know if the variability is on the Pi side, the SSD side or software config.
