So I want to make my Pi into an Ethernet bridge. I found a tutorial, but it's old and not working.
I see in Bookworm, under the wifi icon, you have Advanced Options --> Edit Connections
If I look inside this, I see I can add a virtual bridge
I tried to share the WiFi over Ethernet after setting this virtual bridge up, but nothing happened. So what is this feature doing?
It looks like it's not really creating a bridge in the sense I want it to.
Anyone explain what this feature does, and is it what I want to make the Pi share a WiFi connection from its Ethernet port? I do not need it to be a DHCP server; I just want it to pass internet on the same subnet as the Pi. Is it as simple as setting up this virtual bridge?
Thanks
