Thanks for unlocking this thread. As a new long term support version of Julia has been released my plan is to follow the same steps used in this thread to build an executable for ARMv6.
Julia is based on LLVM combined with numerical libraries, including LAPACK, OpenBLAS, GMP and SparseSuite among others. In the past the build system didn't understand what ARMv6 was even though most of the libraries were fine. This time around there is no official ARMv7 build either, so it's unlikely things have improved.
