Hello all!
Im looking to upgrade my storage, im currently running a Pi4b with a 32gb sd card, and want to get much bigger but im not sure the best way to go. I eventually want to have a large collection of all the cd based systems my pi4 can run, also the video demos, scraped artwork, and probably about 200 mp3 files to IMP for background music. So all of this is going to take some storage space. So heres my questions:
1. Should i get a simple 1tb usb stick and use that? or should i get more fancy with a external hard drive or something? I was originally going to just upgrade my SD card but ive read that sd cards can easily become corrupted and you lose everything, so that seems like a very bad idea. Any suggestions on sizes or types or other options are welcome! im rather new to this whole pi gaming thing Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.
so treat me noobishly.
2. I havent found a black friday deal on a pi 5, but is it worth my while to upgrade if i do find a good price or is the difference for retro gaming not worth the upgrade? again any opinions or help is much appreciated!
