I'd love to see support for using the Pi GPU. 32 bit floats are marginal for audio work but you can always split into an upper and lower part and handle separately, then combine at the end for roughly 48 bits which is fine. Very annoying all that performance sits unused in our products.80 GFLOPS from the Raspberry Pi is not much motivation for anyone to spend similar effort.
In the past I have suggested a GPU programming environment for the Pi could be motivated by the importance of teaching people how to write code for heterogeneous accelerated computing.
