Just o say that i did a clean install of a new image of Bookworm with Desktop and to my surprise rpicam apps was not included... is that normal??

That is not consistent with my experience, but I don't have an explanation for it. Perhaps others would have thoughts on it. However, when reporting something like this, you should include complete information, including:

• Which version of Raspberry Pi imager did you use?
• What device did you select in Imager?
• What operating system image did you select in Imager?
• Were there any other missing packages?
• Were you able to install rpicam-apps with apt after first boot?

You may want to post this question (with the accompanying detail) in a different forum, such as the Raspberry Pi OS forum, as the issue you're encountering isn't Python-specific, and sounds like an issue with the installation process.
