Hey friends, I'm trying to make a birthday present for my girlfriend, and I'm hoping you all may be able to help me. We both grew up in the 80s watching Mtv, so I'm trying use a raspberry pi to sort of recreate that experience.
Initially my idea was to just use mpv and yotuube-dl to shuffle and loop a giant playlist of old MTV videos using Raspbian Lite, and it *almost* works, but my RPi4 is getting bogged down and stutters a lot (I think it's the video streaming.) Any ideas for how I might improve this set up? I'm wide open, and somewhat of a beginner to Raspberry Pi/linux.
